Completed in 2003, Peace and the Future is installed along the Yalu River waterfront in Dandong, Liaoning Province.
The sculpture depicts three young women reaching and moving upward together as they raise and release a group of doves, a traditional symbol of peace. Their extended arms, wind-swept hair, and flowing garments create a continuous upward rhythm.
Rather than presenting the figures as separate individuals, the work connects their bodies through overlapping gestures and shared movement. The composition gradually rises from the broad folds of the dresses toward the open wings of the birds, directing the viewer’s attention from the earth toward the sky.
Set beside the Yalu River in a border city, the sculpture associates youth and vitality with the hope for peace, friendship, and a shared future.
《和平与未来》创作于2003年，设置于辽宁丹东鸭绿江沿江景观带。
作品塑造三位年轻女性共同向上伸展、托举并放飞和平鸽的形象。舒展的手臂、迎风扬起的长发与翻卷的裙摆相互连接，形成连续向上的运动节奏。
三个人物并非彼此独立，而是通过交叠的动作与共同的趋向构成一个完整群体。雕塑的形态由下部宽阔的裙褶逐渐上升，最终汇聚于展翼的飞鸟，使视线从地面不断引向天空。
作品临江而立，将青春与生命力同和平、友谊及对未来的期待联系在一起，也回应了丹东作为边境城市所具有的特殊地域环境。
