Located on Nanguo Road, a street historically associated with musical instrument making and performance, Zou translates the act of musical play into abstract sculptural form.

Rather than depicting specific instruments or performers, the work focuses on rhythm, tension, and directional movement. Curved and layered elements suggest the physical gestures of playing—striking, pulling, and resonance—allowing music to be perceived through spatial structure rather than sound.

The sculpture does not represent music as image, but as process: a moment of action suspended and expanded into three-dimensional space.
