Completed in 2006, Long Live Youth is installed at Shijia Hutong Primary School in Beijing.
The sculpture depicts three young women moving together in a flowing, interwoven composition. Their bodies turn in different directions, while the extended arms and sweeping folds of their dresses connect the figures into a continuous upward rhythm.
The bronze group stands on lotus-leaf-shaped granite supports arranged at different heights. The broad, open forms of the stone bases soften the transition between the figures and the surrounding campus space.
Rather than presenting three separate portraits, the work treats the figures as one collective movement. Their overlapping gestures suggest companionship, vitality, and the energy of youth.
Placed within a school environment, the sculpture gives visual form to the themes of growth, movement, and shared experience.
