This sculpture is part of a series of twenty works, each corresponding to an Olympic sport. Using perforated stainless steel, the figure appears semi-transparent, allowing motion to be perceived through light, air, and overlapping form.

The long jump is represented through three consecutive phases of a single athlete’s movement. Rather than freezing one decisive moment, the sculpture unfolds action across time, transforming athletic motion into a spatial sequence.

Here, material functions as structure and metaphor alike—capturing speed, continuity, and the fleeting nature of human movement within public space.
